Robert Harden, MD, is a psychiatrist with over 40 years of clinical practice, leadership, and consulting experience. Through his extensive work in psychiatry, Dr. Robert Harden has earned a reputation for thoughtful patient care, effective program leadership, and facilitating a lasting impact on the mental health community in Texas and beyond.

Dr. Robert Harden focused on psychiatry during his training at Timberlawn Psychiatric Hospital in Dallas, Texas, where he completed his general psychiatry residency from 1984 to 1987. He then pursued advanced training in a child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at the same institution from 1987 to 1989. This specialization has enabled him to address the unique developmental, emotional, and behavioral challenges faced by younger patients and their families.

From 1995 to 2015, Dr. Robert Harden worked at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital of Plano, where he served as director of clinical services for the inpatient treatment of children and adolescents with mental health disorders. Later, he worked as a Psychiatrist IV caring for patients at the Texas Department of Health and Human Services. In these roles, he provided direct patient care, managed complex psychiatric conditions, and ensured vulnerable populations received proper mental health support.

In 2023, Dr. Harden became a psychiatric consultant with Compassionate Psychiatric Services. Among other duties, he evaluates patients' mental health and provides necessary care.
